Our mission at Craig Johnson Respond Riding is to provide easy to understand information to people interested in the training, care, and improvement of their relationship with their horse and to help in creating a more enjoyable riding experience. Craig Johnson offers insight into all training disciplines and levels of expertise. From beginner to top professional our goal is to make you better. In all riding, training, and showing disciplines, whether it be from a pleasurable ride on a trail or a world caliber reining run, our goal as we ride is to become a helpful assistant to our horse in order for it to achieve the greatness that it was born with. Unfortunately as riders we all too often have a tendency to get in the way in the way we teach, sit, think and react to all situations involving our riding experience. Respond Riding will allow you to use common sense, instinct, balance, feel, timing, and trust in accomplishing your goals. To respond to a horse means to take the information you are receiving from your horse and applying it instantly to instill a correction or to confirm a proper response. You will learn to listen to what your horse is telling you without overreacting to mistakes. Instead, you'll learn to use these mistakes to teach your horse in a shorter period of time how to respond to you with trust and confidence.
Craig has also filmed two training videos for you which you can purchase in our online store.
